Michael G. Young’s Moving Through the Light is part of a new photo exhibition set to open on Sept. 5 and run through Oct. 12 at the Bronx Documentary Center. 

An exhibition featuring documentary photography and photojournalism by contemporary Bronx photographers will open at the Bronx Documentary Center on Friday, Sept. 5. The show is scheduled to run through October 12.

The gallery at the documentary center is open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays from 3-7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 -5 p.m. at 614 Courtlandt St. at the corner of 151st St. Click on http://bronxdoc.org for more detailed info about shows and the center.

The exhibition will feature the work of 23 photographers: Ed Alvarez, Duane Bailey-Castro, Randy Clinton, John Conn, Austin Crimmins, Katrina Davis, David Delgado, Nehyru Fabré, Martine Fougeron, Chantal Heijnen, Tracie Hervy, Scott Hisley, Lisa Kahane, Ira Merritt, Osjua Newton, Danny Peralta, Elle Perez, Nina Robinson, Rhynna Santos, Adi Talwar, Edwin Torres, Osaretin Ugiagbe and Michael G. Young.

The opening reception will be heled on Friday the 5th at 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
